It's quiz time!

Golf's greatest comebacks

Everyone loves a comeback. Europe's remarkable victory in last year's Solheim Cup immediately springs to mind.

But, as much as we love watching it happen at the time, can you remember the details? Our monthly quiz for June will test your knowledge in this department. 

If anything, it's a great excuse to relive some of golf's most memorable moments.

Thoughts for the course

Chipping is a fine art. It requires precision and skill, both of which may need sharpening after a few months away from the golf course. No shame in that! So, here are a couple of points to remember.

Landing spots when chipping

Landing Spots

Don’t focus on the hole. Instead, pick out a spot – a patch of grass on the green – to land your ball on. Consider how the slope and speed of the green, the lie of the ball and the club you choose may affect where the ball finishes after landing.

Practice makes perfect

When on the chipping green, place a towel on your landing spot (as seen in the above image) and take aim. As you get the hang of it, you can fold the towel to give yourself a smaller, more challenging target to work with.
