Tommy Fleetwood threw his hat into the ring to land the European Tour’s coveted Race to Dubai title thanks to his first win in 22-months at the Nedbank Challenge.

A playoff victory over Marcus Kinhult in Sun City thrust the Englishman to second in the standings as the season finale gets underway this week with the DP World Tour Championship.

Bernd Wiesberger is the man to catch, but Fleetwood, Jon Rahm, Matthew Fitzpatrick, and Open champion Shane Lowry all have an outside chance of pipping the Austrian to the grand prize.

Is it still too early to talk about it?

Our survey says...

A recent survey indicated some interesting statistics about club golfers in the UK, so we thought we'd share a few of them with you now. Drum roll, please….

Yep, nearly three-quarters of club golfers use a Distance Measuring Device (such as a GPS watch or laser) whilst 1-in-5 trust your own judgment and feel when it comes to how far you have left to the green.

Pretty interesting stats but ones that highlight how important it is that you know how far you hit the ball with every club in the bag. All of this adds up to smarter course management and, in the long term, fewer strokes (we hope!). Interested? Send us a message via the link below.
